Guild Happenings
I just wanted to provide everyone with an overview of
happenings/changes for the coming year – at least through September. Waiting to
hear about something for October/November. All on the 3rd Saturday of the month
except for our December meeting, which is always held on the 2nd Saturday of
the month. ALL MEETINGS AT FIRST PRESBYTERIAN UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED.
MAY
Bring your Fat Quarter Challenge projects for show and tell
JUNE
Bring your Fidget blocks for our charity sew. If you don’t have
fidget blocks, please come to help us put the Alzheimer fidget mats together.
JULY –– A CHANGE.
Open sew and DESTASH. Change needed because of church meeting rooms.
AUGUST – SHOP
HOP TO PADUCAH!!! – carpooling locations around Nashville area. We are headed to Paducah for our shop hop this year. Can’t
wait!!
SEPTEMBER –
Kelly Young of My Quilt Infatuation will be with us from 11 – 12:30 for a
lecture and trunk show. We will have our own show and tell from 10-11. A
half-day workshop on improv quilts will follow from 2 – 5 p.m. More details to
follow.
