Aug 18 | Paducah Field Trip!!

Announcing our Paducah Field Trip! Planned for Saturday, August 18, we are replacing our annual shop hop with a jaunt that's a bit further afield. We're planning on leaving at 7 a.m. for a visit to the National Quilt Museum, Hancocks of Paducah, and more! Please plan on an all-day trip, and all day fun!

If you're interested in going, please sign-up here! We are asking for volunteer drivers from different parts of town - so if you can, please let us know in the form.

Once we have a bit more information about carpooling, we'll send out an email to let everyone know. Can't wait to see you there!

June Meeting Recap | Show & Tell and Community Service Sew

We had a great time at our June meeting & community service sew! As always we started off with some amazing show and tell from our members!

We followed up our show and tell with a Community Service project, sewing Fidget Quilts! Altogether, we had 20 fidget quilt "kits", which we exchanged "block swap" style - each participant getting blocks to add fidget items to. We finished 17 quilts during the meeting, with the extra kits going home with members who wanted to finish them! Several quilts were taken by members for family and friends, and the rest will be donated!

Thanks to everyone who participated for all your hard work! If you'd like to find out more about fidget quilts, this is the resource we used: https://www.missouriquiltco.com/land/mansewing/fidget-quilt/index.html?utm_campaign=qt_tms_131 (and video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GhojSOjTAn4)
